...one of my co-workers reads my LJ but not this one.

After sitting through an hour of a team meeting in which we heard "future planning" news that had me fighting to keep from putting my head down on the table and crying like a little girl...

After coming back from the meeting to find out that no, actually, they probably aren't going to move my cubby for painting today, as promised (and my stuff has been packed up all week because the first lie was that they were going to do it Monday, so working has been a challenge)...

After going to the [badwordsdeletedyou'rewelcome] retirement seminar in which I learned that I'll be financially able to retire when I'm 75, maybe...

05:12 pm: My brain hurts...
But I think I've managed to post (mostly correctly) both the Sept. 1 kink thing and the Bring Back the Porn thing. Yes, I know--the BBTP entry was supposed to be the tentacle story that I abandoned, and it would've been if I hadn't been thinking about Mort and Miguel and telling myself, "Y'know, one of these days you need to write that 'good to see you again' sex thing." I sat down at my PC at 10:00 or so last night with my handy dandy sparkly orange notebook open to tentacles and opened up Word and the next thing I knew Mort was wanting Bain to shove him up against the wall and stuff. ::shakes head::

Thanks so much, evilmissbecky, for speed above and beyond the call of duty in beta-reading. If the story sucks (not like that!), it's totally my fault.
